Personal Response:Racial Harmony

Racial Harmony is help races understand each other and not to create riots.Creating disagreement with other races may cause people to suffer.People disagree with each other when they had a argument or insulting the race.As for Rajah's solution..... If everyone were the same race,we would not have interesting cultures to learn from each other.For example,if there isn't Chinese,we can't admire the fire cracker being displayed at Chinatown.How can we encourage each other to make friends?Maybe by understanding other races better in that way,we won't make fun of other races.We could set up exhibition about other countries and interesting things from there too.And we could see how or what they do during thier special festival.

Reflection:Looking forward

When the results were back,I had butterfly in my stomach."how am I going to show these to my parents"I thought.My result for English were like HELL.It was very bad but in the end,I still show it to my parents.(well.....,I show it to my father after I show it to my mom)To my surprised, both my parents did not scold me but instead comfort me.They told me that I have tried my best but I can do better.They were proud for my Maths,Science and Mother Tongue.I told myself that I HAVE to improve but how????????????Maybe I can read more storybooks,do more exersise book,I can improve better.But best of all I have to tried my best.>_<

A trip to Bukit Chandu and Old Ford Factory

The day finally came.I have waited so long for the day to come.Ah yes!This very day is when all my friends and I will be going on a learning journey to Bukit Chandu and Old Ford Factory with my teacher,Mrs Azhar.I partnered Cheryl Teo when we was instruted to find a partner and I can always be found with her as she is my best friend.Nobody can separate us. We board the bus at about 8pm.It took about 30 minutes to Old Ford Factory.The tour guide's name was Vincent.I called him Mr Vincent because it is rude to call an adult by his or her name.First,we went up to the AV theatre to watch two video.The first video is about Lieutinant Adnan how he fought with the japanese at Bukit Chandu.The second video is about the japanese occupation.After that,we went to the time tunnel to see the room where the British surrendered to the japanese.We saw many interesting things in the "tunnel".Then,we went to the back of the bulding to see many vegetable growing healthly.We took a few pictures of the whloe class in front of the building and set off to Bukit Chandu.We saw many fascinating videos and other stuffs there too.I wish to go out with my class once more or many other times as it was very fun on that day.

Total Defence Day

Total Defence Day is the day when the british surrendered to the japanese.We will remember the day as Singapore was known as the fortress and that is why all boys have to go to National Service for about two years.On 15th February,we will celebrate Total Defence Day and we will always be ready.
